Wow that was impressive held off peloton for the whole lap!

I guess it's always worth a long range go on wet days like this - there'll always be crashes in the bunch so it's a lot harder for them to get organised and reel riders in.

Fantastic solo win! Well deserved I think. When is the Tour Feminin ?
I noticed they went around the Arc de Triomphe rather than the usual turn around before it. Wise decision I think.

The UCI should make it a condition of entry for World Tour teams each to have a women's team with a view to a rule within five years of equal funding of the women's and men's teams.

Well meaning, but considering how weak a proposition moving from Pro Conti to World Tour is, that probably wouldn't work out great.

Prediction:

My prediction is that skinny will suddenly appear, having ridden back to Paris from Mont Ventoux in about ten minutes, attack the peloton hard and hold on for a deserved solo victory, then carry on to Istanbul.
