Started to really hate the tape on the ITM bars so decided to finally get the Mavic TT setup on this. As much ocd as I have I went for a Cinelli 2a in 110mm instead of a Mavic as they seem to command riduclous prices nowadays. Also the FIR Halley was a bit too shouty and didnt like the colour of the decals. Gonna look for a reasonably priced Khamsin instead.
Anyways.. now looking for some bartape and was thinking to get something shouty like pink or orange..? or keep it classic with black?

Awesome , Is that Benotto

Yep, but Im gonna keep my eyes peeled for something a bit more forgiving on the hands, some sort of retro flouro orange tape, pelten, silva or something along them lines for the near future.
Now to look for a bigger chainring sigh

Here it is with bars wrapped and cockpit tweaked slightly. Feels good as is but would need a few more goes and for longer times to really see how it fits. Running 49 x 15 which feels about right for training I think but I think a bigger chainring is in order. Also replace the shitty tub on the front for something a bit more tt..

My first attempt at a TT happened last saturday at @clubman's Sporting '27' on the HCC137. Scoring a mediocre time of 1hr 20min 36sec. New personal best in the near future hopefully. It felt really good bringing the Shrubb out for this, it felt stiff and responded well with the majority of weight on the front. Really looking forward to bringing it out on more serious races.
Now to find a matching 26" fluidisk ;-)

I think you need this..

Thanks. I do need it but I need to not spend the asking price even more.. especially for something I will actually use occasionally ;-)

looking for a front disc so you can get it slaved out?

Been a long time since Ive ridden this but some minor adjustments have been made.
Got some Mavic/Look pedals for a reasonable price. Changed the aero bar set up so they are taller leaving the base bar lower which I think will be better for me fit wise.
Also the conti tub I replaced to old one with has a leaky valve so put the budget vittoria back on for now. Gonna try and put some hours on this now that I have some free time from uni so stuck on the water bottle holder on for h2o gains.. -Would a black aero front rim, with gumwall tubs look out of place on this? I like the mavic but have the possibility to get an Assos front rim but not sure if the colour co-o would be correct

Haven't had much time to post on this thread but got a new front wheel which I think should gain me a couple seconds.. A 26" Mavic Cxp 25 with an axle that has been threaded internally. Got some countersunk screws and washers a la 'tester' for ultimate aero gains. The original Mavic ones are nice but bulky. Just need to find a nice gum-wall 26" tub then should be good to go -

Spoke heads are on the inside, is this unusual? Interested to know if this is better than facing out?

stronger wheel (more spoke triangulation)
perhaps marginally less aeros
generally considered less pretty - most folks prefer a studded flangeLook forward to seeing full bike shot
