I didn't have the email when mentioned turned on but presumed you weren't talking about the emails?

Yeah, that's the bug.

Mentions aren't being processed if the comment is edited.

I know it might not be the right place to ask and actually might be a very stupid question but how on earth do you start a new For Sale thread? I don't seem to find any help related to that. Cheers.

Post a conversation in the right forum (complete bikes, or the other one, just search for "classifieds": https://www.lfgss.com/search/?q=classifieds&defaults=true ).

The post should have the title "For Sale: item" where item is what you are selling.

That's all there is to it.
