That's neat.
Oh Datura. I had some of their stuff. Should've recognised the female vocal.
I was a bit of a fan of this:

Yeah! Same same

I’ve seen a lot of nerds write on discogs that Quench - Dreams was the first true trance record. I think that’s 1993 but maybe it was played out much sooner than that. I don’t know because I didn’t have pubic hair back then.
Anyway - it still sounds unbelievably good to this day. I became familiar with it when Paul Glazby remixed it in about 2001 and played it at nights like Insomniacz.

I think Jam and Spoon or Hardfloor might have something to say about that.
-

They will have to take it up with the discogs beard scratchers I’m afraid.

It's a great tune either way, I think I probably heard it around the same time, I could be found at Insominacz then too.

I had every remix of that thing. You know they're Aussie right?

was earlier though and just as timeless. -

This was what beat Dreams in the ARIA (aussie recording industry assoc) Dance awards in '95

Early 90's Euro Techno/Trance goodness

Ah, Cosmic Baby!
I have Traume on my ultra racing playlist. It's so different but it always seems to make me smile as it builds

This was another big one for me

I’ve always wondered why the artist became Miss Shiva at some point. Any ideas?
Insomz, Superfish and latterly Karim at Twist defined by 2000s/early 2010s.

You know they're Aussie right?
I did not know that.
You can’t claim to have all the remixes because they continue to be banged out. This is from last year.

That is actually my producer alias...

Just a remix

Have you got Karim’s brutal hoover mix?
-
• #46
Of course! Who doesn't?

(no, of course not, it's a shit version. I stopped playing most versions of it years ago. The 999999999999999s one is the most recent time I've heard it)
They've probably laughing all the way to the bank with the remix royalties.

Ahhh man - that set sounds awesome.
I was supposed to see 999999999 at Junction but then it got moved to this weekend and I couldn’t go so got a refund. Then it turned out I could have gone after all.

Not sure tbh.
I was always more on the trance side of things, Passion, Gatecrasher etc but then I moved to London, and apart from Peach ended up going to more Hard House stuff anything at the Fridge, Mind over Matter at Camden, only went to superfish a couple of times, loads of mates played at Twist, my favourite was always Riot at The End.

We had a few tickets for Junction2 for ages and then yeah, they moved it late notice, so we tapped out and got a refund. Mate has suggested going back to ADE this year. Wonder if they'll be there. Gotta get over Italy trip first and I think ADE might clash with another event.

My partner is going to be really pleased about the memory rabbit hole I've been taken down.

Sorry everyone, I'll post some trance in a minute.

Found my copy of this the other day, not heard it in years. More your Euro Techno than Trance although the genres crossed over at the time
