I did make an inappropriate joke about Oakenfold being a bit of a wanker but this doesn’t look good. https://ra.co/news/79108

Dunno about it being trance but there's no beats and I'm not touching any ambient threads

I like cycling with a long trance mix on earphones (with a mirror for safety). It gets me into a trippy mile-eating zone. Most therapeutic. Anyone else tried it?

I remember a particularly euphoric moment during one of the TransAms with the sun coming up and probably a Matt Darey trance set on the headphones

Just found this searching my old twatter posts seeing if I could find a tweet about it

Is that your Matt Darey one? I don't know anything about the artists, I just get compilations at random.

No, Matt Darey is a dj that used to play some pretty good stuff. His recent sets are way too vocal and shit modern trance but back in the day he had some good sets. Like all trance, basically - it was better in the 90s/00s
Trancemaster was the compilation of choice for us back in the day.

My euphoric moment was in a long (several miles) tunnel in Norway. The orange lighting was slightly strobey. I started to get a deep vibration in my body. It made the music all embracing, like when you stand next to a big bass bin. But it wasn't from the earphones, it was from a huge truck behind me. This being Norway there was no cause for alarm. The driver waited patiently.

While I'm going through old hardtrance and rave stuff... here's a collection of, I guess mostly German hardtrance, if that's your bag...

Epik - Eternal (Depthcharge Mix) [South Coast Records] 1994
Not really what I'd call trance but Church Of Extacy - Modulator (Hardtrance) (1993)
