I couldn’t resist it. There was so much “no” that needed turning into “yes”. The chance of failure was extremely high and nobody appears to have had a go before. Isn’t that why idiots like me do these things? Dare I say that isn’t it quite the definition of adventure?

You can. Too many people lose their lives in the Highlands every year due to bravado like that.

Does it come across as bravado when you read it? They're both experienced riders/experienced outdoors, they seem well prepared, well planned and still smart enough to call it quits when conditions were obviously against them.

oh nice. I got a bit pissy and logged straight off when i saw the new site but its actually not that bad.

i got dropped by Mike on Zwift so rooting for him and Skinny of course :)

Think Liam Glen will be one to watch as well - he won it in 2016

Awsome , Mike is a cool guy with an impressive Ultra cycling background.

Liam is very fast too . seems like a strong field , wish I was lining up and not sat at my desk.

Be interested to see how Liam Glen goes, he did the 2020 BB200 in about 14 hours or some such nonsense.
