Cycle trainers, what's spoiling your day?

Scooter training can fuck right off. I'm doing the 2 days I agreed and never doing it again(unless I'm hard up or they really have nobody).

It's shit, a massive steaming turd.

Taking a group out and being passed really close by a Veolia artic driver who decided to pull in before he had passed the front rider. Very scary and unpleasant.
The upside was that I had 6 lorry drivers with me, who disliked it more than I did.

It's double or quadruple the registers and just everything shit left in with everything good taken out.

Fair answer.
Any good operations will stipulate that last minute cancellations still pay for the booking.
Just got my main council employer to do this after years of pushing for it.
There's still only about a quarter of the eligible age group 10 up in schools receiving training overall---- so the fact there's independents and councils both trying to deliver training is part of the mix

I think I might have to start extensively blogging my experiences of scooters and linking people via twitter to that so the office see it but that will mean blogging on the blog I never use.

Accepted a course one morning each week and didn't think much of it. Noticed this month it's really screwed my calendar up.

Had a council staffer send out all bookings for my 80 hours work this upcoming term. She got all the times wrong despite having confirmed already.

1-2-1 cancelled ugh

5 days booked for this month, lots of work booked after.

Just had a cancellation for all day weds which wouldn't be as bad if last week I hadn't turned down 2 other offers for work on the same day to keep the booking.

Tomorrow cancelled due to NUT strike.

Had that too but getting a bike and truing stand delivered.

Teaching a trainee 1-2-1 when a bus driver makes a close pass on the 2 of us then hurls abuse from window, stop to talk to the bus driver who seems to feel it's ok to endanger us as we had been riding 2 abreast at some point. Unsure if I should write up a whole bunch of incident paperwork now or not but think I should which is just annoying.

Trying to politely word that I don't work for a company anymore and realising I'm racking up loads of admin time I can't invoice for as the company won't just email them back.

I have to remind myself that I get to finish around 3pm. Fuckyeah!!

Working with an instructor tomorrow(and all week) who when I worked with him near the brexit vote told me he had voted UKIP before and was voting to leave the EU, when I changed the subject he went with "ah, you are young when you are older you will understand". Expecting the election news to have set him off again. With any luck the lunch break is either so short there isn't time to talk or so long I can leave the school and just distance myself from the guy.
