Ha, that was a good little session...
Running at those two guys you shot at yelling friendly was a bit of a gamble but I'm glad we managed to cool the situation...
Will be on again later, managed to get a Mosin with a scope for Vesalius and he maanged to go from 100% bambi to full kit in our session. I finally have drum mags for my AKM again and we have plenty of food. I think I like that server, the camp fire story is brilliant, bless em. I used a bit of my awful french and everyone was friends.
Will be on again in an hour ish I think.

I think I came out of that well - got out of the Town Hall unscathed and eventually found a child's briefcase to carry a few things in. Am now running East to West along the north border of the map and will come down on NWAF some time tonight. Food first.

Near Devil's Castle.

Productive hour or two. Mosin, AK, Crossbow, magnum, M4 parts from crash site, smersh backpack (need vest) hunting backpack, canteens etc etc. Currently perched on that steep little hill just below the military base to the south of NWAF. Good view with the Mosin from most directions (had to remember to take off UN helmet to avoid sticking out like a blue chemlight).

Got dragged to a party in the end so didn't make it on again... just read dev blog and they are saying .49 and the big wipe is coming in a few days which is going to be a real heartbreaker. Not sure if its a full respawn or just inventory wipe, I guess the former...
Just went on for a few mins, I swear some of my inventory changed. Very odd.

Not to take this off-topic but I'm not quite there yet. Boot Camp is an utter abortion and doesn't seem to work. I get a "No bootable disk found" error when it restarts with the USB Thumb drive.

@well_is_it keep on it! it took me about 5 attempts... doubt it will ever make it to Mac. Just run it on dead low settings and you'll be fine, I know someone who uses an integrated card and it still runs.

Ok, I'll pinch a recordable DVD from the office tomorrow and try that way. Booting from the USB just aint working.

If you cant see, go into graphics as tweak the gamma by a tiny bit, it wont change the game but removes the blood loss filter (it did when i last played to that level of blood loss anyway)

Alt-tabbed out to read a pointless email from estate agent in a safe place with all sorts of good gear and ammo. Alt-tabbed back in 20 seconds later. "You are dead."

Bit of luck. After 5 minutes play I'm exactly where I left off with near enough the same kit.

So this evening me and Chris picked up where we left off, after heading East to the coast last night to help out some bambis etc.

In the chat box there was french and english messages going out, "BBQ at NWAF, everyone invited". So we thought feck it why not head back over, could get sniped on arrival, could be for real and have a little feast, so threw caution to the wind and off we went.

After fighting off absurd amounts of zombies, we picked up a third man en route, one of Chris' friends and arrived at the airfield. We could see people in the distance outside of a hanger and approached warily, we were greeted and showed into the hanger where there was a ring of fires. We were treated to steak and beer, loads of ammo and some random guy gave me a mosin!

After chilling there and having a chat (all the while watching our backs in case it was some sort of honey trap) we said our goodbyes as we wanted to loot the tents on the other side of the airfield.

On the way over to the tents me and Chris turned a corner and ran head first into a random bandit, who immediately let fly a whole clip, wounding Chris in the process. Me swinging my axe (no ammo) and Chris firing back scared the guy off. I ran back to the hanger and we recruited the French BBQ guys to join the hunt to chase down the bandit. We tracked him down to one of the barracks, where he had holed himself up and was firing from the windows, unfortunately for him the entire building was surrounded, and Chris' friend stormed the building saw him off once and for all.

How we made it out of that initial confrontation alive was a miracle haha. My best session on the game so far for sure
