Day Z LFGSS crew/clan

I'm already loitering around there, visited last night. Didn't have much luck, but it looks like it has potential. It must have been done already. It was mostly AK handguard rails and stocks. I found a weird stash of 10 or so empty AK mags, guessing they were dumped by someone.

I might try and get over there for the Sunday meet/possible meet.
Also, in the next couple of weeks I hope there is a rainy weekend where we can all spend all day on it... ALL DAY.

Am in the woods just south of Tent City atm. Will hopefully get a bit more time this afternoon to explore it and then head up to the mil base north of NWAF (which I didn't even know existed).

Will dump anything I find in the Camp LFGSS barrel.

Will also see if I can't start farming in that bit of woodland to grow some food (though maybe it needs a certain type of soil? Not tried it in any seriousness).

Incidentally I keep finding trucks but having not experienced them before I'm not sure how to get them started (battery/fuel etc?)

Just found a VS3 full of fuel and ready to ride stashed in the woods south of Tent City.

Took it for a ride. Travelled about 10 metres before flipping it...

Yawn. Ran all the way to the very, very, very north west corner of the map where I saw a video alleging a big military base from version 49. Obviously they've now removed it because after climbing what felt like the alps and getting 'Hot' I found a cleared forest where buildings clearly once existed but fuck all else.

Going out for dinner but will try and get on lateish or failing that tomorrow/weekend.

Ha, I have heard of aa Military base up north no one goes to, maybe not that one though...

Had a cheeky run last night on empty servers.. NWAF is pretty crappy still, the tents are ok though. Now have decent gear including an AK, is there a mag in the barrel?

Really hope you picked a couple up?

Had a little run around on that French server last night. It was dark though. Didn't see a single zombie. Is it Ray Mears simulator now?

Erm, yeah, kinda. Think there are about 5 Z per server and they dont respawn when killed, so if someone kills one thats one less on the server!
Fingers crossed next patch brings them back, they were reduced due to server performance issues. People were saying how .57 was all about PvP but with no Z and less ways to die surely there isnt much more to do in .58? Although I am keen on starting a camp and making some fires on the coast.

Oh also, on my NWAF runs... I found evidence of quite a few massacre's... piles of loot all ruined. Lots of mags, shotguns, 2 UMPs, backpack, all look like someone had been blasted to hell at close range. We need to hit tent city as a team with overwatch.

Did tent city a couple more times solo last night. Bit of a gamble as there was a fire there and it was a busy server but didn't see anyone. Found lots more ammo and a couple of pistols but that was it. Similarly to Chris I found lots of gear in piles that was ruined as though two or three players at a time had bought it.

I was reading a blog on military locations this morning and it says there's a convoy of trucks and vehicles on a road in the north centre of the map. Not heard of it before and maybe it's one that's since been removed. It also said there was something at Kramensk and Turovo.

Was going to have a crack exploring the north this eve just to see what's still there before heading down the east Coast on a bambi hunt. Would be a lot of running so would need to stock up on food and make regular stops at water pumps...

I put two or three in there and have another 2 in my bags.

I think I'm in for tonight... will try and dig out my iphone headphones and use the TS app although the wife has pals over so she may not want everyone to know her husband is a secret geek.

Failing that we could just go to the pub?

Had a run through Novo. Bloody empty. Made my way south to NWAF and got lost. now logged off in the middle of nowhere. Meh.
Found lots of food, canteens and a lovely childs briefcase though.
