Sadly I dont think you can carry them when full. I will be right next to them when I log in but not sure of which server it is (haven't managed to find it). If all is gone I have 4 guns I can dish out.

Snap- i managed to get clear of the wall and then back up to where the camp site was. No idea what server it was on so messed around with my 1st person character last night. I have to say that 1st person makes zombies terrifying- if you have a large backpack on checking over your shoulder when being chased is a pretty restricted view!

@Dramatic_Hammer walk up to tree with axe in hand. "Chop firewood" will appear, hit f until it falls down. Then search the area near the base for a log.
Profit.

Tbh, most of the servers I've been on since last week have been warm and cooling down has been the main issue.

I quite like how the game keeps changing as they work on it - it forces people to change playing styles.

We need to help out a few new members... get them up to speed, it's quite fun the way there is no tutorials/tips. I learnt a lot form a friendly player I met when I first played, took me under his wing and taught me how to survive for longer than an hour or two...

What a crap way to temp fix the bug- its not like it will be a really long wait until .51 goes stable and in that time it could be interesting to see what happens to gameplay with such abundant loot.

WIth the .50 patch you don't need an axe or" firewood" for a fire.

As long as you have matches and a rag, just search the forest floor for kindling, and you can use kindling to make the fireplace kit and as firewood itself.

All this stuff about the wipe is crazy! But I agree getting things back to normal will bring the game back to what it should be.

That's a step in the right direction but I still long for the days of learning recipes (e.g. using up books to learn survival skills like making a fire saw or something).

I also daydreamed the other day about a game with real world physics - an actual sim variant of DayZ where there was some kind of free draw mode on a construction panel. For example you could carve a bit of wood in the shape you wanted and real life physics would dictate it behave in a certain way (an arrow or a spear properly formed would fly through the air whereas a wonky arrow would curve down like a shit boomerang) rather than just dropping one icon onto another, or making flint arrowheads etc. That's the real shit there.

Is there a meeting point? I'm aiming for 8:30. I'm near vybor base, always seem to be skulking around there.

Well the tents are just east of Mogilevka in the woods and I think a few people are logged out near there. 083 098 is a small garage type building and a privy that was on the route vesalius took me on to the campsite.

Lets set a place to meet at 8 which is close to where the bulk of people are. Those who can get on earlier can head over to meet. I'm by the tents. I assume @Vesalius will be on earlier. Vybor could be a good place to aim for 8:30? Maybe have a 7:30, 8 and 8:30 meet up places so we pick up everyone on route?

Thing is, if we want to meet other people surely going south is better. Going up to Vybor means being local to the mil base and NWAF so plenty of geared up players..

Having said that happy to go a bit 'counter-strike' today and up my frags.

We have enough gear to get everyone fully geared. I might keep the small AK and the longhorn so have at least a shotgun going spare. Kinda like the idea of binning off the ak101 so it looks like I don't actually have a weapon.

I won't be on till 8.30ish but I'm up for this - what server will it be? I'm approx Tulga at the moment...

also if the server we end up on is hot, wouldn't mind swimming out to one of the islands- reckon they would be perfect for overwatch duties.
