Running a brake is generally easier that trying to get people who don't ride fixed to understand how to stop without one!!

Running a brake is generally easier than ending up under a car because you can't stop efficiently without one!!

Quick question, didn't want to start a new thread for it either, but im going to be working at the ASDA on Drayton High Road, just wondering what the bike parking is like there? My current store we have some crappy bike parking but just wondering if anyone has some first hand experience or if someone could snap a pic next time theyre there?

Last time I took a bike up there it was a case of locking it to a bench / lamp post, not a sheffield stand in sight.

There are 3 bicycle racks and some wall anchors for cable locks near the staff entrance. You should be fine using those racks. I THINK there is a safe parking for employees but I'm not 100% sure.

Perfect! I need to locate the staff entrance as my first shift is sunday!
