Longer bolts + nylon spacers are easy to pick up too

The XACD commuter hack is still around!
I have done a few upgrades, including a new Thomson finishing kit which includes a 120mm X4 stem, 27.2mm Elite seatpost & matching seatclamp.
Also fitted a San Marco Rolls Titanio - I really like Rolls and the Ti is in line with the build... I will need to get it recovered so maybe @Skülly can help.
I will take photos of the full bike soon, I have upgraded the front brake to hydraulic with a massive 203mm disc and Avid Elixir 5 caliper/lever.

Awwww man?! That sucks, sorry to hear it.

Don't sell it, get cheap frames (Dolan precursa) and move all components on it.
Quick fix for now until you can see about getting a new ti bike in the future perhaps.

Yeah what he said, get a red dolan pre cursa.
edit - maybe blue

I have a "Condor x Richard James" frameset so I will just use it for the time being but with a normal brake.
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150254340079586.340898.236103044585Hopefully I will find someone interested in the full front end.

Don't see anything.

I am indeed!
I have now spoken with Vernon Barker who did the re-weld and he agreed to re-re-weld FREE OF CHARGE.
I will pull apart and send his way, the XACD Hack will live to see another day ;-)

Get the bb shell cut out and replaced with a nice big shell for running a Bushnell Eccentric. Should be able to cut beyond the metal changed by welding without changing the geometry too much.
Needs an artist to do it without deforming the new shell, welding tubes in the wrong order.
Then you'll have permanent wheel slammage and/or adjustable pedalstrike.

XACD only produces entry level frames so it would not be worth going to this extent.
It will go back to VB to get sorted and I will probably run it as a singlespeed as opposed to fixed to lower BB stress & risk of re-cracking.

Glad to hear it will live to ride another day!
What about a sram hub gear / coaster brake? That could be cool.
-

I need a new wheelset for it and as it happens, was looking at a SRAM Automatic Coaster on eBay.
I will probably end up with a cheap wheelset / standard forks & sell the bike once it is all fixed up.

Update!
The frame is back from Vernon Barker and the crack has been re-welded.
The bottom bracket threads have also been chased.I have sold the disc forks and I am currently using the 50mm carbon wheels on my Condor track so I need to think what is next for the frame...
I will probably go down the coaster brake route or even 'normal' brakes singlespeed to limit the stress on the bottom bracket area.

Doesn't look too bad! Nice to see you fixing this and using it rather than chucking away.

Nice to see you fixing this and using it rather than selling it.

Hope that does the trick. Curious that the original crack went straight through the middle of the weld rather than down the side of it. It must have been really seriously heat stressed when it was originally assembled. I can't help feeling the re-weld each time has looked like a weld bead on top of the old crack, so it's just opened up again each time from below. It really needed filing right open so the new weld could get some decent penetration all the way through.

What are the forks?
I've not currently any photos but have done the bending the stays thing with my Pomp which has a front disc and guards. I used the top caliper bolt on the disc side which does put the stays at a different angle than the other side but it works fine.
