Just took off the marathon supremes to save them for winter and put something nicer on for summer, that is 40 mins of my life I'll never get back (plus one pinch puncture) you must have fingers of steel/some good tyre levers. The A23/Supreme combo is pretty tight tyre/rim combo, think it might be time to invest in some boutique tyre levers before trying to do that at the roadside.

There is a trick which I cant really explain; will have to show you. They are not the easiest to get on but I've only ever had one puncture on them. Took me about 15 mins road side all in. That combo rolls nice and smooth. According to internet wide rims are betterer.

Definitely sold on this, wide rims and tyres are great, especially to take in some pave/British roads/the bridleway shortcut I tried last night which became more xc than the track the map led me to believe.

Push all the bead into the middle of the rims first, then use a lever to take off the bead from the rims.

Thomson stuff £30 each; rest will end up on ebay next week; make me offer(s)
I've sent you a PM asking for second dibs on those cranks, if Dan changes his mind.
