Aah
I am excited to see the new Enve gravel fork with lower a-c and 38c+mudguard clearance. 12mm thru axle though.

Might have them build me a steel fork for the wet months. In that case they can use the same grey color. But if i get a carbon fork (Kinesis CX Disc/Whisky No 7) i probably wont bother.

Yeah it sure looks cool. Will prob be £500+ though..

Can't you just use something like these? Looks like you've got enough clearance.

You think its safe to drill and tap a M5 in the crown on these forks then?
-
• #232
Bit of carbon/resin work I'm sure you could come up with something.

I think I want this exact frame. Can you do a production run plz. Thankds

I keep coming back to this thread, I really want one. None of the OTP "adventourgravelracer" look quite as good.

Maybe i could just epoxy something i could bolt the fenders to underneath the fork crown.
-
• #237
There's an M5 eyelet already there on the underside of the fork crown (as per Pinnacle Arkose)

Aware of that. But not on the current fork (Columbus Mud CX Disc)

Horrible sketch done on the train. But maybe you could get a bracket made in 1.5-2mm stainless and bend like a hanger. This bracket could be mounted under the crown race of the headset and bolt onto the mudguard. It wouldn't change the geometry dramatically and would be easy to change if you had a split crown race.

Would definitely be up for a production run on this bike too!! Beautiful looking bike

Take the geo sheet from the first page and send to rychtarski, problem solved.

Consolidation keep running through my head too.

Thinking of having Rychtarski build me a custom steel fork instead of buying another carbon one for the wetter months when i'll be using guards. Also more practical for future bikepacking/touring trips.
~390mm A-C and maybe eyelets for Blackburn Cargo/Salsa Anything cages.
Also. Anyone got experience with running Kinesis Crosslight Disc wheels tubeless?
These tubeless Schwalbe S-One in 30mm look interesting.

Looks like you're being stalked :)

Ditched the custom fork idea and ordered a devolution crown race and a surly disc trucker fork instead. Also breaking the bike down and rebuilding with 5800 again. Saving the ultegra parts for spring.

a surly disc trucker fork
THINK OF THE TUMBLR !!!!!1

Practicality & functionality wins over looks in the coming 5 months i'm afraid. Will still try to fit PDWs to the current carbon forks though. Just need to make a threaded part of some sort to fit under the crown.
V3.1 next year will include 1x11, tubeless and hydraulics.

Also YOU influenced me in not getting a custom Rychtarski disc fork ;) I'm sure they're perfectly good but surly's are pretty bombproof. Considered a Vaya fork too but those are 10mm longer A-C.

Why swap? Ultegra shifter and 105 everything, or DA shifter even.
-
• #250
Keeping the ultegra shifters. But swapping the derailleurs back to 105.
Swapped to 33mm CX tyres and test fitted the forks and guards. Looks awesome.
Front brake cable is too short for the curved fork though. Might try some other bars while i'm changing the cables.Also. Back to 46/36t chainset because of the tight clearance between tyre/mudguard and band on derailleur (can save 3-4mm by moving it down).
Are you gonna repaint it? that grey is my favourite colour scheme of all.
