Look for a pair of Celestion SL6's, roughly the same size as 601's and a truly outstanding bookshelf speaker, 601's are lovely but sl6's are something else.

Despite being overseas and therefore not being able to buy any of this stuff, it's still probably my favorite thread on the forum. You're doing great work Dazaa!

Which are the best of the big Celestions in your view?

Well i've got a pair of ditton 44's and 25's in right now. Will do a direct comparison and let you know. Have hadmultiple pairs of both before and can remember the 44's being better.

My favourite For Sale thread too. Cash poor unfortunately but if/when that changes I would definitely come here for some big floor standing speakers and some freaky looking separates.

It was £50 for the amp and tuner, although they weren't the biggest or heaviest components. Buy a Cyrus amp, small and powerful, postage will be cheap!
