Rest in peace sir. There are nasty pinch points in both directions of the Vauxhall gyratory, I take an early right through the bus lane to avoid the one where this tragedy occurred, I hope this spurs a belated redesign. Thoughts are with the family of this poor victim of tipper truck bullshit.

Andrew Gilligan told us that in July consultation on the Superhighway route linking Harleyford road to Vauxhall bridge will happen with construction due in October.
Plans for fixing the rest of the junction are years away.

RIP fella. Just think how many lives would still be going if Tipper trucks werent on the roads. Obviously cant ban em completely, but its a fact they are killing people.

I am distressed by the TfLspin doctors conflating the project to put in a two way cycle track on the north side of the junction with another project which might change the layout where Tafsir died. The cycle track plan will begin this year. The one-way system removal is still at discussion stage there is no detailed design, timeline or budget.

Horrible news. RIP rider.
