  • Yes i'm happy,paint is correct and geometry to but some small paint chips are on frame but its great!

    You waited 21 months for your frame and now you're selling?! That's so sad.

    Do you have any pictures of it built up? Curious to see how it looks.

  • I would think twice before selling it cause if you ever want their frame you may have to wait like years and years in the future.


    I ordered and paid for an already made Pelizzoli Pista GP fork on 20th September. Was told it has been sent for delivery on 25. Got this email today:

  • Hehz.....after waiting for so long, I dont blame you for not wanting to ride it....I am waiting for a frame for me and one for a friend, for almost 1.5 years. My friend already bought a Nakagawa crmo funny bike, and is just going to sell his frame when it is finally done/arrived (if it ever does....)

  • Those are the sorts of emails we keep getting.....garbled English talking about ..."shipping problems, tracking numbers, sorting out issues, changing couriers, going to be sent on Monday latest"....."we will definitely reply by the end of the day" etc etc... I would rather just hear the truth ie. "It is going to be another 5 months"
    I am used to long waits for custom frames....but when you get a quote of 10 weeks, you expect 20 weeks at the most....

  • Received the fork this morning.

    Already made fork ordered 20 september, arrived 16 November. 2 months.

    It has got a brake hole, the g pelizzoli writing is in wrong colour, the thread is rusty and slightly damaged.

    I wrote an angry email but it will fall on deaf ears. Do I have the right to send it back?




  • Rusty thread is fine, normal actually.

    Wrong colour, brake holes and damaged steerer* however is definitely a reason to send it back, but giving this is Pelizzoli, they might ignore you.

    *unless it required to be cut down to fit your bike, then ignore this).

  • Thanks. As you say steerer can be cut down but the rest. I wonder about literacy level of anyone who deals with customers at pelizzoli. When customer asks for a track fork with certain details surely that is what should be sent and not something completely different. sending this fork back to Italy will cost £27.90 which I will have to pay.

  • I'd just live with it and never order from them again. Seem like a bunch of idiots.

  • I am not usually petty about these sort of situations but this is just not right. I am sending the fork back via Parcelforce, around £28 charge (not tracked), 6-7 days delivery. tracked is around £54.

    Do you know what is really annoying, they sent the fork knowing very well that it was wrong, you know, hah, he will not mind.

    First i was not sympathetic towards everyone else who had issues with pelizzoli but now I am beginning to understand how they felt.

  • They have replied to my email saying that they are sorry but they did not know I don't want brake hole. As for the thread and colour details, they used some Italian words so I did not understand the explanation.

    I emailed back telling them to start making new fork for me and that I want it in one months time. Used this line:"unless you do so I will contact my lawyers" (it is cringeworthy but still).

    Sent back the fork, it cost only 17£ tracked with,3-5 days delivery.

    Got another email asking to excuse them for this mistake. They will start making the fork immediately.

    I screwed them on facebook and this is how they replied me.Actually I don't really understand what she wanted to say :)

    " as in previous mails exchanged in mid-November am proceeding with your order and as agreed when ready I have to deliver to those who have indicated in the mail why did you do so in facebook I told you the problems and hardships and had thought we had clarified
    I do the impossible so that your order will be completed before Christmas"

  • My story:
    paid my deposit in March
    after 8 months of waiting and chasing they send me pictures of the frame I ordered
    and told me to pay my balance. I did right the way and hoped that I'll get it soon.
    5 days later I got an email from them told me they'd problem with their paypal account. they wanted to refund my balance and asked me if I can transfer money to their bank account and then refunded me.
    I checked and status of the refund was pending for one week.
    One week passed the money is still pending. I send them email to ask what is going on and of course no answer.
    I called paypal, they told me the reason the money is still pending is that they refunded me by using bank check and it doesn't have enough money to refund me.
    Now, I send them another email and no reply yet. I think I'll have to send them at least 4 or 5 emails as usual 'til I get reply.

    I still want the frame and will be happy to ride it but how they treat their customers is just disgraceful :-(

    Has anyone thinking of visiting them in Bergamo?
    I'm going to europe in February and if I don't get anything from them by then. I think I'll go there

    really sorry for all I know you have truly disappointed but Viglio recover and fix everything
    We had several problems caused by poor management in the past that are unfortunately dragging over who has problems in finding materials especially steel pipes as well as to problems generated by visitors helps us in treatments for this type of frame
    I guarantee you that I would have made the frame for Christmas out to various hitches
    I did not know how to handle it with you and I did not know what to tell you unfortunately until next week I can not give definite information on the date of delivery of your frame
    Have a little 'patience we do not want anybody to cheat us honest people who have had various difficulties of management and organization mainly due to lack of experience on my part in managing emails and orders"
