Come On Eileen premier free short film & Q&A with Eileen Sheridan

Look Mum No Hands are hosting the premier of this new documentary short about the legend that is Eileen Sheridan. Eileen will then take a few questions from the audience.

Hippy was presented by Eileen the West London BAR trophy (she now makes glass trophies used in distance cycling awards) and is by all accounts a lovely woman whose joy in cycling is infectious.

It was actually the West London BAR trophy she presented me with.

She's packs a lot of punch for such a small unit. Her bio Wonder Wheels is a great read with loads of record breaking anecdotes from cycling's golden* era.

OK sorry hippy, wrong trophy! Yeah from the short film she seems like a great soul.

I saw her speak about her end-to-end record a couple of months ago as part of a fundraising drive for her local church roof. An incredible woman, really amazing.

C'mon who's coming to see it?

I fancy it. Will see if I can encourage more of the ladies to come along too.

It's in the diary. I've seen her speak briefly once before, at a Hammersmith cycling film show, years ago.
