haha - nice one! You should enter some of the hardriders (with a slightly smaller gear perhaps)!

Lake TT last night, seems to be holding up ok. Need to work out a way to better attach the RalTech cover as it rattles like a very rattly thing... (currently just using the press-studs)
Pb by 10secs - considering I was held up by traffic several times in the last couple of miles I am pretty happy with that - fingers crossed for a clear run next week.

Trispoke died - has been replaced with an 88mm 25mm wide tubular
Tried a Specialized Sitero, didnt get on with it, so the Adamo is back on.

picked up some Magura RT6 brakes for this, not sure if the rear will fit or not though...
-

Maguras didn't fit, so have a tririg front caliper on the way.
Also got some new zipp 110 extensions and will be going 1x11 di2...

Took it out to test out the brakes and new extensions. Seems OK but difficult to gauge as it was so windy.
Should get round to entering some TTs as some point really this season.

I don't think I've ever ridden around the lake when it's not windy to be honest.

ha, true although there aren't normally 4ft high waves on the lake....

• #38
That does sound slightly beyond the norm.

So, this seems to be performing pretty well, although the bars keep slipping in the stem. Anyone got a 90mm -17 stem with a fairly low stack height?
Hit a pothole on the first of 3 laps of last night's 25 which caused the bars to slip, thankfully they didn't move any more so was able to finish, just in a slightly sub optimal position.

Is that a RT cover or something different? Looks very clean!

Cheers - but just after something cheap and cheerful until I can find a Tririg Sigma

Yeah - its a Raltech cover cut down to fit my 88MM chinese crabon tubs and taped on with electrical tape :)

PX!

Good call - £10 for a 90mm -17 stem will do :)

Have a 58T narrow wide chainring on the way from China, hopefully before the end of the season :p
Also have new bars (ADR/PDQ carbon ones) and still looking for a tri-rig sigma xf stem.

Less aero than a solid ring?
Shame you couldn't make it, It was quite a fast night. The course was adjusted a bit due to some temporary traffic lights but still about the same length as usual give or take 100m. I won somehow, probably because most of the usual big hitters weren't there but I like to think it proves that going faster is simply a matter of riding a bigger gear!
