Don't know if this counts but I called dibs on the thomson stem :) IMO the bike looks awesome, but as already stated either modern saddle to follow through the components or steel forks would round it up nicely :)

I think it's looks FUCKING AWESOME! Great job man well done!
Only thing i think it needs is better pictures so people can see the real beauty in it and aligned the crankset. Hope to spot it on the road soon.

I think another saddle, something modern like a SLR or something would be great.
And some better photos!

Think I might go for an X2 and shim, currently on sale at Wiggle.
I have an Arione but its red...

I'd have said this needs a more modern saddle, the bar/brake positioning sorting out (zip tie/bit of leccy tape on the right lever?), and a more elegant stem, as well as possibly a less chunky chainring? A lot of potential there though!

Zen is definitely staying as is the saddle! Laser absolutely love my arse.

The Zen matches the rims really well.

Horizontal X2, matching seat post and it'd be perfect.

This build has seemed a bit odd to me from the start but tbh it looks like you've just ignored any haters and built a bike you want to ride. rep'd

Pro-Tips of the day:
- Remember not to push the pin of the chain all the way out
I do this far too often. Chain and chainline related issues are not my favourite thing to deal with.
Your bike is looking tasty though :)

I have to admit the X2 looks way better and much more
Comfortable with -17 deg giving a flat transition. -

why is the brake lever all gammy?
-
• #167
gonna hack a bottle age on there for extra practicality?
-
• #168
^ this, do this! and sort the brake levers.
it is looking so much better with the x2 though, really nice.

I built my H+S SL42 on 7600 in the same fashion with silver nips.
I sold them because of it. Black nips needed heh. -

Black really compliments the bright coloured frame. well done on this!

For years I've wanted an NJS frame, but don't ride brakeless and don't like drilled forks or fugly clamp on calipers. Now I see there is a way. I think those forks look perfect and the build is awesome.
Beautiful bike, chapeau.
