  • one of the worst bikes Ive seen

  • Is that a yellow chain too?

i believe the exact colour is called sunbeam glow apparently the faster you go the brighter it glows.

  • needs yellow tyres.

  • Nothing wrong with the bike. I'd slam the stem, change the saddle and take better pictures but that is all.

rode about with the stem completely slammed and it was awful its not for me this is going to be my everyday bike so i had to make a choice either look cool or be comfortable, I spent the last three days riding around with different stem heights and this works best for me.

yeah crap pics i know lol i apologise.
hows your bike coming along have you flogged the seta yet?

  • Yep, seta flogged. Have everything apart from the wheels and handlebars. Ordering 88mm clinchers from China soon with BigH. The rest is easy. Will put up a thread after exams are done and I have the wheels.

  • BigH? are you buying your wheels through ebay?

  • look cool or be comfortable

Neither of these things are possible on this frame. If it's your everyday bike, whack some risers on it.

why is that not possible do you or have you owned one before?

  • whack some risers on it.

    Yes

Lol - got nerged for this. Shame your nerge has no power. I've nerged you in return for being a wet lip.

  • I should nerg you just for the state of you face, wasteman! buy yourself a carbon frame and then come tell me what i should or shouldnt do.

And ive read some of your threads seems like you were a bit of a victim.

    nice bike by the way.

  • ^haha. good comeback. how long did it take to find that gif¿

  • I think I'm okay looking. I've only been rude about your bike, not your face - one step too far my friend. One step too far.

Clearly you are yet to realise that this forum is full of trolls and I like to be one of them sometimes. Also, carbon is not the be all and end all.

  • "sometimes"? Jay-bee, trollz 4 dayz.

  • I went through a carbon phase, two in fact then I grew out of it and realised for the kind of riding I do (mostly city stuff) steel was best.

Also how could you neg that face, look how happy is he is with his sweet fixie!

I'm not trying to troll or be rude, but did you consider comfort at all when you decided a track frame would be a good choice for city riding? And if you genuinely don't care about looking cool, why not get a Brompton?

Much more practical for the city, and you'll probably have the same saddle to bar drop.

My guess is that you're a bit more bothered about looking cool than you'll actually admit.

I quite like the Turbo on this build though, perhaps because it's the only part that doesn't look like it's trying too hard.

  • When you're choosing to ride a carbon track frame around with carbon drops, you've go to go the whole hog and have it slammed or you end up with something that doesn't look great and doesn't ride great, you may as well have one or the other.
Judging by the lack of saddle - bar drop, I would guess your saddle is way too high too. Try lowering your saddle and you will be able to drop the bars too.
Or just do what people on this forum have been doing for years when riding track bikes around and put risers on it.

  • ^took me a moment to figure that out haha

As i have said before there are a few things left to do, and at the end of the day it's my bike that I will be riding and at the moment the current set up works for me.

  • badmanlongtime, I think you tried to neg me, but as the comment was just "left fanny flap" I'm not sure if you're trying to insult me or you're just generally confused. Judging by this thread, I'm leaning towards the latter.

No not rude you actually have some valid points but here is a step by step guide to what you should do with those very valid points
