I agree the turbo looks out of place, but I will be riding the streets so I do require some level of comfort and I am yet to decide on the handle bars, the drops look better but again for comfort I think the risers will be better.
Gear ratio will be 49/17.

Unfortunately...

Further progress, crankset fitted 28c gators fitted too.

It looks like the forks you have fitted offer much more clearance than the PX track ones.
No way you could fit a 28mm tyre on them.
This therefore means that the geo is slightly skewed as the top tube is supposed to be horizontal and yours looks like it is slightly sloping backwards.
I don't think it will change much when you actually ride it.
-
• #108
^rear wheel is still sitting on 23c
-
• #109
Swap them over and the geo will be ok!
-
• #110
Im putting 28's on the back too, once i do that it should ok but it will have a little forward slope i believe, as this fork has a 43mm rake.
-
• #111
The PX track forks have a 25mm rake and offer clearance for up to 23mm tyre.
I see what you mean with the change of rake which should compensate the new fork clearance but the axle to crown distance on your forks appears to be higher than the PX track fork ones.
Time will tell!

Less head tube angle (by longer a-c) and more rake => doing it right [if the goal is a hunt for the same trail as before the customisation].

Fixie–MaxPower transition complete.
Post burnout vines ASAP plz.

so the higher a-c and increased rake should give me the same trail and a horizontal top tube yes? no?
not too good with maths, also been looking at Sheldon browns website and a few other websites since last night trying to get my head round this lol

This looks great! Would look even better with a stripped SLR, risers barely wide enough to fit two adult human hands on and an outrageously huge chainring.
-
• #116
Wide risers on this? Pls stahp.
Want to try some narrow 3T scatto? -
• #117
^I'm going for a stripped carbon SLR on mine... but i'm also not expecting to have kids.
-
• #118
i would like to stay fertile.

• #119
Nah kids are overrated.

Also this!

They aren't mutually exclusive, i'm sure there is a saddle as comfortable that suits it better.
-
• #123
Yeh I was joking. With padded shorts my bum gets used to harsh saddles quickly. I'm on a stripped SLR on my Track champ and it's really comfortable. Granted this will be harsher but it will do.
-
• #124
The saddle is the only exception for aesthetics over comfort. I'm getting padded shorts for maximum comfort too.
