I'm likely to buy a pair of 20h Flo 30's within the next week or two.
If anyone is sold on the concept, then I'm happy to enquire about combined shipping. I live and work in Shoreditch, if that makes a difference.

Does it coat a lot to machine an extrusion die? Would you need more than one if the inside is hollow?
-
• #30
Yes, for some values of 'a lot' - it's thousands of dollars
You need a die for the outer shape and a plug for the inner shape
-
• #31
How do they extrude a hollow rim profile? Can't get my head around it.
-
• #32
Inner plug is set to allow the billet material to flow around it and through the outer die shape.

Could be interested in a front Flo30 for windy days if this happens.
-
• #34
On the TT bike? That's going to be a PITA, being 4mm wider than the Hed3, and I've never been that bothered by windy conditions with the H3 anyway; YMMV

I'm a bit skinnier though. It's more a fancy wheel for the turbo tbh, but I've got a cheap wide rimmed wheel on it at the moment and flipping the brake QR and a couple of turns on the barrel adjuster gives enough width. I'd like one of these Rolf Vector Pros that people seem to rave about, but they're as rare as hen's teeth.

In for a pair of 30's, so just waiting for an update in June?

That's fine for now, but when you get your TriRig Omega you'll need to get the little Allen key out :-)

I think I have a pair in the garage, surplus to requirements- I'll have a look when I get home.

Pics plz
& @bmx_fred they charge a flat rate x item for shipping, so not sure it would be any cheaper with more people (unless you got it shipped to somewhere in the US, and then someone else to send them here)
Just got this: http://us2.campaign-archive2.com/?u=9f7bb33f6c575eed30c494b7e&id=807c9d3f51&e=4d9f75143b
