Your riding partner bonked some time ago and you are just keeping them company?

Frustratingly enough this isn't far from the truth. The guys I usually ride with are all out of action for various reasons. My mate Neil snapped his frame in a barney with a Land Rover, Robin works out in Richmond now so isn't about as much for Regents and everyone else seems to be busy or off the bike!
As I'm leaving the club I've been nominally running for the past few years, I'm trying to find another decent group to ride with. Is there a LFGSS geary-trainy-group? 40km Regents chaingang thread? Anyone got any experience with Praetorius / CS Grupetto / Hackney CC?

I'll do your Dolan along with Dimi's Fuck if you fancy.

Pretorius are supposed to be quick. I'd be up for some high-paced rides when down.
Could easily gather a LFGSS.cc actual race team I'd've thought...
esp with dimi, 6pt etc. -
• #361
Islington CC do RP laps (and are on microcosm ;] )
-
• #362
Afraid not, other than you can't join CS-G, they have to invite you.
Not true. We're a small club where everyone knows each other and want to keep it that way so we only take in a small number of new members per year. Anyone is welcome to apply, though there's often a bit of a backlog.

esp with dimi, 6pt etc.Yeah! I need to get a few races done first, but I've got a load of mates who are jonsing for a proper race team.
Skinny's fast, aint he?
I'll have a look at pretorius, their arch is just round the way from my flat too. I remember seeing them in Regents a few times and admiring the kit.

Yeah, I had a look at their website. Mentioned 'social pace' a lot and I lost interest.
That club jersey tho

Clive lied to me, then.
Clive isn't in Grupetto. Not sure where he would have got that idea from.
-
• #367
Pretorius kit is definitely the best.
Not biased or anything or basing it solely on pinknessness. -
• #368
That fluro. Pretty eye catching! I'd hate to be stuck with it indefinitely though :)

Neil; I doubt it, sounds like Clive is being a bit disingenuous. Though it was probably before my time in any case.
I think there was a conscious effort for a while to stop the club becoming an extension of lfgss, so he may have been asked to wait for a while, but I very much doubt it was a straight 'no'. -
• #372
Surely Clive is too fast for Grupetto?
-
• #373
Such weak trolling, Andy. So disappoint.
