    • Brother (the Russian one)
    • Infernal Affairs
  • ghost dog:the way of the samurai

  • Is this a film as well?

oooh, your bad dude, was a book then a film then a series, the series basically extrapolated the plot, film is best imho

  • Thanks. I watched the series when it was on Sky Arts and remember my Italian colleagues saying it was originally a book, but didn't know it was a film.

  • og roma crew

  • ov similar vein
    La Hain
    Un Prophete

  • I watched Prophete again the other day. So good.

Funnily enough a friend recommended La Hain so bought it (back in 2005). The next week the Paris riots broke out.

^^^ so are Patricia(sp?) and Dandi in both? I'll imdb. :s

  • the characters are, but different actors, my favs are Fredo and the mad as a box of frogs Buffalo
Prophete did well in Cannes i believe, and the main arabic tough who runs the machine in Marseille got a role in the recent Jarmush "only lovers left alive", also good
