Where would you be coming from?
There may be the occasional 5 minute breather or catch-up pause but there are no stops on my rides.

Is this Blackheath Gate? Seriously, I'd probably stand right next to a massive group of riders yet somehow not see you, and I don't know the area at all.

What sort of route in terms of hilliness is this as I'm tinkering with the gearing.

Pretty flat

Except for those bits that go uphill.

Shooters Hill and Basser Hill are the only bumps of note.

The youngest of the family has developed a high fever last night. Have given it 24hrs in hope that it's a passing fancy. 23.30 he's just waken up still pretty miserable. Chances of me making it have gone from slim to none. Bugger.
