Do you think this will be ready for Saturdays corpse paint ride?
-
• #57
It all depands on Parcel Force when they deliver crankset...
But think it should be ready by then...
And if not I might come on something else, yesterday bought a new lopro frame :)

Spin to win!
I'm not a huge fan of the showy big ring and spinny cog combo.
It's the fixed gear equivalent of stuffing a cucumber down the front of your pants.

That's chainring is teporary until I find 51t...
Also not biggest fan of big chainrings, but might look good on this build...
Will see... -

I'm struggling to remember his name, who built that mint/sage green Raleigh with the massive ring? Was such an awesome bike. Top bloke too, used to work at Fitzrovia Cycles, when it was still called Cavendish Cycles IIRC.

Did you have to pay custom fees on the frame?
-

Yeah, had to pay customs.

These pics are the perfect example of what I meant when I said:

It's just so damn ugly.

Cool. Jus' checkin :)
Anyway, I know I probably said go with Zen earlier on, but just saw this and thought the DA combo with dark wheelset actually works well with silver post and stem.
I always like NJS build threads, probably cos I've never had the opportunity to do one and everyone wants to 'help' with suggestions.

So build is finished. Well - rideable. Still few changes needs to be done like: different front and rear tyre, Pearl 100mm (instead of 110mm), maybe different chainring, bar tape wrapped more nicely,...
Shitty pics for now, better after weekend.
Loving it btw :)
