PM mate

seat post length to tt ratio is borderline acceptable for non compact geo...
still can appreciate the lookrunning a frame on the larger size of the spectrum might just be more comfortable for long hauls which im not sure the OP had in mind
light/tight and fast is what i suspect... Job well done.

Received this today. Now I'm after 19t cog (anyone?).
Black Zen 51t is on the way...
-
• #156
Ok, didn't take long a acquired cog aswell:
Tomorrow will put on 'Kino, can't wait.

Silver Zen...
-
• #158
That looks great Patrick. I'm sure those bars are comfortable but I preferred this build with drops if we're talking purely aesthetically. Silver Zen is bangin. Are you gonna switch it for the black one when it arrives?
-
• #159
I know, aesthetically, drops are nicest, but can't ride them...
The bullhorns look quite ugly on photo, but it's just an angle what makes them look ugly. Comfort>look.Once the black Zen arrives, I will defo try it on!

And you're sure it's not too small?

It's pink, it's rad & NO!
:)
Promises, it looks good (true, not that good on pic).
-
• #166
without those barends it would be better, but isn't it a bit uncomfortable?
-
• #167
Some matt back hockey stick tape and that is perfect!
-
• #168
Might consider barends, it's just temporary setup (pink bars) from my beater, but kinda fell in love with it and might keep it this way. Black Nitto bar end might look good (ot silver ones?).
It's supercomfy, using padded gloves!
Without gloves it would be probably quite painfull after time...

I like the pink, and the whole bike in fact.
But the stem clamp annoys me, the way the gap in the clamp is not vertical bugs me.
Bit anal I know, lovely otherwise. -

Benotto ftw! :)

Coolest bar tape ever :)

Excellent build , corima looks rad

• #173
The Corima is on the wrong way
-
• #174
Oh no it isn't
-

Might consider barends
Wrap the Benotto plugs inside the tape. As it's non-adhesive whip it all off and start again, but stick the plugs on first and wrap the tape around it, secured with insulating tape covered by another layer of bar-tape, then finish the bars. You end up with a really crisp finish that doesn't make the plugs look as tacked on as they do now.
Personally I'm happy with size.
I know that nothing beats the look of drops, but the NJS stamped ones are way too low. Maybe I had them wrongly set up, or I'm not used to them (never had drops before) but I might try some other drops which are not that low.
But as I said, love bulls at the moment.
