Trains usually go from the low number platforms, 2 or 3, so we'll meet towards that end of the station, possibly by the ticket machines. Try and get there in plenty of time so we can sort out groupsaves, 15 mins should do it.. Looks like 2 lots of GS3 unless there are late dropouts or joiners.

Lovely night for a ride, bit chilly but enough hills to keep warm, and so many stars in the sky.
Profuse apologies to Steve and Matt for my stupid nav error, I sort of knew I'd fucked up as I passed it but then immediately having to deal with that appalling road surface, and having a car on our tail, sort of stopped me from processing it. Having finally admitted we had gone wrong I pulled up just in time to hear the last of the air escaping from my front tyre. That was just insult to injury (or should that be the other way round?). Strong riding to get back on the main group, particularly Matt who rode away from us on Ranmore while I was giving everything just to stay on Steve's wheel.
Many thanks to Jim for picking up the slack and guiding the others round the correct route.
Roll on Roydon

No worries - I blame the crosswinds for splitting the peloton in the first place... ;)
You know it's been a good ride when you wake up on the sofa @ 4am covered in food...

Out.. :-(
Hairnetic on the ride to the pub overshot the Jolly Butcher going down Stoke Newington High Street. Seems he would have done very well getting lost in Surrey ;-)

Easts? Missing the ride to go to Easts? Norths was excusable when it was Tuesdays but Easts? DTM.

damn cold at the end.
always a cracking route and a fecker not taking the right (left) turn and splitting the group but nice to all rejoin at the top of ranmore and blast it back to the pub.
thanks to matt for organising and jim for leading from the back after the split.

Great Night, although I feel like I spent all of the time we weren't riding fixing things. Great Skies.
Great Group.
Great Moon.
Wonderful ride home. -

I know, I'm sorry, but East's was a cheaper night out overall.

Nothing wrong with a bit of additional scenery on the detour and enjoyed the unspoken pursuit to catch the rest. Didn't have much choice on the last hill, it was all or nothing!
Thanks for organising - look forward to the next one.

More than welcome to come along. We'll bung up the list for the next ride sometime next week but I can say with reasonable certainty it will be Roydon on the 2nd April.
