Lovely, what happened to the Bob Jackson?

Decided against. Same with the Mercian.
This is basically the same bike I'm getting but with new Ultegra and black bits instead of purple.

Very nice.
What made you decide on the cielo in the end?
Have you had a chance to ride one yet?
-

I got the Cielo because it was a great deal and they are pretty rare in the UK which appeals to me. I've never rode one but spent a while eyeing up that one in Kinoko a few weeks ago.

^^ did you find out what tubing they use in the end?
-

^ Sure I read they are tig-welded True Temper OX Platinum ..
Don't know if you've come across this article but I found it quite interesting in a geeky manufacturing way ..

I have to say - these are really beautiful in the flesh - The finishing is superb

Yeah I read that. I'm actually in Portland right now so I'm going to try and go over to King and have a look about the place.

Chris King are notorious for not letting visitor in their main factory, be interesting to see how you'll fare.
Great choice of frame, very functional without any of those NAHBS wankery.

I was about to say 'they won't let you in...' but Ed beat me to it.
Portland's a lovely place - enjoy.

Some more photos from my factory tour. Those CK guys are real craftsmen.
Yeah, so I bought one of these and am now waiting for the guys at CK to weld it together and send it over to me.
I also went for the colour matched Honjo fenders. I'm pretty excited about this one.
