Nicrom
NJS aero stay makino track frame from 2008 so it's 120 spaced, 27.2 post and all that good stuff.
58x58.5 with 165mm HT so it's a little small for me according to traditional NJS frame fit but it really cost me so little I don't care.
Came with a 'like new' DA 7700 BB and hatta swan HS. One small ding on the TT and some small spots where the pant is worn.
I'm not planning to really buy any new parts to build this up as I have to do it on the cheap so it definitely won't be a full NJS beauty, it'll get some lovely parts that really don't go with it :)

Oooh tidy!
Love the OTT slogan.
But 59 square so you think it may be too low?
-

Cheers; too low and I'll have a good 20 or so CM of seat post showing if I run clipless pedals and a 'fast' setup.
Reach wise a 130mm stem and risers will be a decent setup for cruising. Not sure what I'll need for track but likely the same stem plus drops will do it.

Tall people problems...? ;)
That unicrown fork is one of the nicest I've ever seen, normally they tend to be rather functional, weld the parts together, feckit, done. This one, super smooth :D
Building up a Paul Donohue (Graham Weigh badged) 853 atm. Wee bit battered on the paint work so it's for winter. And yes, it's yellow (again) ;)

Yes fam! This instead of the brensho then?

It's not actually a unicrown, just a smooth lug. Can't wait to see your new build.

Nah that's still happening, this is just something to ride now because I'm scared the bianchi will just fall apart under me...

Applied discount code and 50 dollar declared value made it even more of a steal.

Brought it to the shop and did a parts bin build. Gonna get the wheelset rebuilt and grab the seat post out of storage some time this week.
Excuse the abused front wheel, it was crashed then repaired and then further ruined by childish writing.
Edit: no I won't be keeping the cockpit!

Really love the seatstays on those Makinos, there was a few of them then I was looking at my Samson for months before buying it.
That front wheel needs to die.
*Edit: I meant seatstays.

Definitely needs risers

That frame looks lovely, Where did you pick it up?

Lovely frame. Love makinos and that seat stay is chunky!
Long seat post just looks better IMO.

It's dead already :)
Gonna lace the blue phils (which happen to match the frame perfectly) to some tb14s I've got for the daily wheelset.

120mm+ quill stem is the aesthetic.

I thought HMRC was wise to that sort of thing now?
If they're not, wouldn't mind learning the name of the shop :)

Since I have a fair bit of time this week I'm gonna update this thread yet again.
build plan:
130mm zoom tig welded stem and high rise monkeylites.
blue HF phils to tb14s potentially with CX rays.
Nitto 65 silver post
Other little ideas are phil BB and I think a pink CK HS may be in the pipeline if I end up loving this as much as the bianchi (doubful).
Reason for running the deathspok is it's the only thing I own that doesn't have at least a 28c on it and they won't clear the fork crown with deep v rims but I have a feeling with wider tb14s they will, if not I'll end up spedning money and probably putting paselas gumwalls on as I think they'll look good with black rims.

Noooo to CX rays. Bladed spokes look rubbish >28
Yup!
Little preview of the replacement.
