  • Was hanging near the finish/podium late on and someone skanked three Tyskie in a carrier I put down by my wheels.

Scummy shithead nicking £2.50's worth of shite lager. What is the world coming to?!

I confess, I like Tyskie lager. I didn't take yours though. Missed seeing you yesterday, I had to get back for half six to cook dinner which was bad planning on my part

  • My vids are massive so left PC on uploading to YouTube will link channel when finishes

  • Got out of work late so missed the track crit which is what I mainly wanted to catch! Said hello to a few, otherwise I was the guy looking socially awkward in the sunn o))) shirt admiring the bikes.

  • Seven04 and his youth club

    Lolz.

  • It was so much fun! First track crit, so pretty happy with 10th. Next year bit more work and try and stay with the the front group. Such a good atmosphere, good work to all those that came down

  • Huge thanks to everyone for cheering me on in the penny race.

It was a fantastic experience, as always. It's one of my favourite urban courses - the tight corners, roadwork ramp and the potholed road surface made for intense pennying. I've recently had some work done on the spine to make the rake of the forks more aggressive so I sit more on top of the wheel. Braking, leaning and accelerating out of corners felt a bit scarier this year!

We were initially disappointed that our event was reduced to 15 mins (instead of 20 + 3 laps) but it made for a faster, more tactical race. It was great for me to get a chance to draft, attack and counter-attack in the second group. Made it much more interesting than last year when I got dropped quite quickly from the fastest group and then pretty much rode solo for the duration. Came 7th which I was pleased with.

Great to see familiar faces in the pits and in the crowd. There is something really magic about the Nocturne.

  • Here you are, in full intense pennying mode:

  • Nice one! On a penny, even a relatively small incline feels like a hill.

  • Good race. Pretty pissed off with the sudden 2nd change of timings... After waiting an hour at the start line, getting told it was going to be shorted to 15 minute +3 laps to then suddentl find it was 10 minutes +3 laps? Missed the sprint... Still chuffed with 13th!

Yeah same here, the organization was a bit poor. I expected a rolling start after the neutralized first lap so was a bit confused when the car stopped, then just got a bit swamped in the first two corners and ended up in a group at the back with Ho and a few others. came 7 places worse than last year! it was still great fun and an amazing atmosphere though, thanks everyone who was cheering!

  • Was a proper quality day; well done all you racers.
Not sure if this is the best place for it, but went for a little cruise around London with the Das Rad Klub guys today, super chilled fun:

  • My efforts to support weren't appreciated by the missus who told me 'you can't just shout out "ho" in public'.

Any news on the London Dynamo rider?

Lol, cheers Tom hope you did explain about the 'Ho' issues.

The dynamo rider had a broken collarbone and couldn't really move from his spot, therefore the amabulamce was summoned but London amabulamce initial sent a medic on a bike which wasn't much help so they eventually sent a proper alabumance car with the lift to safely take the rider off the circuit. (Hence the hour delay for the track crit) but he is alright and on amends I think.

  • All the picture everyone took have nothing on the one of Hoke's nipslip ;)

  • Good night out.
Big thanks to thomas. for giving my daughter a sweet little belt pouch. She was super-stoked to be hanging out with the big kids.

  • Looks awesome, I only realised the dates once I had commited to drinking sake at a friends(that I missed seeing last week so didn't want to bail on). Will likely see the channel 4 showing(poor mans showing).

One-hour TV highlights presented by Matt Barbet:**

    **Sky Sports 2: Tuesday 10th June, 10pm

            **Eurosport: **Friday 13th June, 7.30pm
            **Channel 4: **Saturday 14th June, 5.30am

  • Great fun, really enjoyed my race (leigh day kermesse) even though i got caught at the back on the line, so ended up in the second group.

Hope the Dynamo rider is ok? Anyone know who it was?

  • Why was there such a delay at one point?

  • Also hats off to Leo for coming second in the boris bike race...

  • HoKe saddle is painfully high!

    Crash at the bottom corner.

  • Delay was caused by the Dynamo rider that went down. From what i gather he had done his shoulder some damage, fingers crossed for a fast recovery.

Make sure you note that the C4 showing is at 5.30 IN THE MORNING. I would have missed that had not someone else picked up on it...

  • HoKe saddle is painfully high!

Saddle height is actually perfect, its those damn bars and their massive drops that gives the impression that my saddle is higher than it is.

  • Ho with game face on, waiting for the start:
