Terribly sad to read this news. My thoughts are with his family who must be suffering. Such a sad sad day.

Never met the fella, but hope he's now at peace.

Great Josh episode! Never knew if he was exaggerating or not but he said the tyre rolled over the pedal while he was strapped in.

I saw his pedal afterwards and it was pretty mashed. For 6 months I commuted along that same bit of road and was reminded about him every time.

So we're in bar in Amsterdam and we all turn towards Josh because he'd been quiet for ages. Josh is silent and he's sat at the end of the table sweating. He is sweating real bad, like he had malaria, or Ebola or some fucked up shit. Thick beads of sweat like custurd running down his forehead and he is saying nothing. We think this is Josh just being Josh (plus some of the others had been to a cafe earlier). But this goes on for like half an hour and he says nothing. He finally gets up and goes to the loo, comes back and he's chirpy as ever chatting nonsense as we were accustomed too.
A while later Jon goes to the loo and comes back with a report that someone has totally destroyed the porcelain, really discombobulated it with an unflushable. Josh just pipes up, "yeah it was me, I've been constipated all day".

A gross story but possibly one of my favourite Josh episodes. Maybe you had to be there.

He spent the rest of the weekend buying and smashing milka. It's all he wanted to eat. Fuckin' Josh man.

I remember this one time at jimbillys birthday at the green man when josh was still on crutches recovering from the bus incident.
We all left to go to another but in east somewhere and sumo ended up giving josh a lift on the front of his bike there and home.

Totally shocked by this. Like others have said already, he definitely made an impression. Super sweet guy and sarky little git. A character for sure. RIP, Josh.

Just found out, gutted - he was a good kid. I remember when he first came down to london to uni. I first met him at the Euro Polo Champs he was riding a shit bike that someone had given him for free.
I regularly used to see him couriering around town. He will be missed

When I first met him; a little spikey little fucker. Initially I thought he was a dickhead but that very quickly changed to respect as he didn't do reverence or ceremony. Can't remember how but we soon became friends at S.Es sharing a smoke or two.

I will never forget riding home with him on my saddle and me straddling the top tube. I could only go for a couple minutes at a time before needing a rest so had to tell him to put a crutch down so we didn't tip over.

This really depresses me. Josh would message me randomly on FB, in the middle of the night, to chat. Sometimes it would happen when I was away, without a proper internet access, in a low mood myself, so I'd ignore his "Hey, dude!". Then he deactivated his account. Now I regret that I wasn't more attentive.

I do this too! Even though I didn't know him well, makes me think of him every time.

Sad news, I have no bad memory's of Josh when ever I think of him I always end up smiling and thinking what a wonderful mind he has.
