I found a quill seatpost, i hope the seller will accept my offer...
I was thinking if an ergostem will look ace on it or not...
Still wondering where i can find fixed 100mm rear hubs! Maybe is worth trying contacting Moser. -

So awesome! Where did you find it?
Mack hubs might do a custom rear hub?

Chestpad FTW.

ebay, with a generic and non specific ad title. I think I got it for a fair price...
I've already contacted Phil Wood for a quote... if negative I'll try mack then. -

This is how the original frame was first built in the 1994 for the attempt, 28" front...

For a second there I thought that was a reflector in the front wheel. I thought it was built by Halfords.
This is bloody brilliant!

what about useing a 100mm disc front hub with a bolt on cog? or a freewheel road disc? would be a lil sketchy but maybe bond the cog the way spnk does there adapters?
also thing looks insane

Specialized trispoke
do you mean any rear specialized can be converted or i need to find the "slim" ones myself?
Obree was using specialized on his old faithful with the same bb/chainline... -
• #14
B0N0R is right the old specialized ones can be easily spaced to 100mm.
-
• #16
those adapters are set back to 120.

anything build with track threads is going to be built for 120+ mm for a spoked wheel a front disc break hub would work also.

But in case of a front disc brake hub, and the drilling of the cog, ecc... What's the smallest cog I can fit? The disc clamping area looks huge...
-
• #18
i think 16t is the smallest i have seen
but a freewheel disc with a bonded cog would be wayyyyy cooler
-
• #19
another doubt, do you think I can fit a dura-ace crankset on that spindle?
-
• #20
why not? as long as it is jis
and really cool project btw :) you don't see such things so often

It looks more like a ISO to me...
I'm really excited about it but I'm pretty sure it'll take some time before it will be actually working :)

So, what did he use? A normal rear track specialized and inserted a custom hub? Or did he just threaded a front hub? -
• #23
this is going to be amazing when finished. i bleeding love the hour

If you want 7600 then you need ISO not Jizz

For simplicity/ cost effectiveness- the Disc brake converted hub would be perfect.
Can you run this with a belt drive as well?
Ok, today I got this frame, a little anti, but enough weird to build something interesting.
It comes with the famous 1 Banana wide BB, and a weird 100mm rear spacing.
Instead of the chest pad handlebar i was thinking to put some TT bars
If any of you knows which seatpost, rear hub I need?
