looks like you need an LFGSS monthly club night, track accreditation series, and events,
just sayinIf we could justify £325 per month + £50 per coach, guaranteeing enough numbers to do so... then they would love us to.
I think every club/group is basically shooting for one-off's whilst we all determine what the demand is.
The choice is either every month (and the commitment to do that), or once in a blue moon.
We, like most groups, have opted for the blue moon until we know whether an alternative is realistic.
Would people pay and dedicate the time, and would we get the numbers for a monthly thing? It was intimated that it wasn't the case. If we find that's changed, we can ask for a bigger commitment (on our part).

At the UCI velodrome you pay for an annual pass (well, actually a 6 month pass as it's only open to the public over the winter) and then just rock up as and when you fancy. If there was a sufficient number of people ready to splash some cash, would that be a possible model to follow? i.e. you pay a lump sum up front, and then get to go to whichever LFGSS monthly sessions you want. Having the cash up front means there's no risk for the club, and gives an element of flexibility.
Just a thought.

If such a thing raised £925 per year... yeah, that could be an option. We'd only need 25 of us to pay £40 per year for it to work, and we could even make money for the club from dues from riders who visit once in a while without an annual subscription.
Bear in mind the club is non-profit, so if we did make money we'd have to figure out a way to spend it on having fun on bikes.
Once LFGSS CC is up and running (now imminent due to this thread), we can figure out whether it's feasible.

If it was £40 a year I'd be at the front of the queue. The UCI pass is 310CHFs, so just over 200 quid at current exchange rates.
As for any excess, spending money on bikes is my specialist subject. Always happy to help.

Nah, not for me. Metro wanted to know when LFGSS got access to the track so I wanted to save him a spot.
2000 laps and I'd be in..

Not sure, but it would probably be track only wheels, not your commuting tyres. Don't want to get the wood all fucked up, do we?
I also remember reading somewhere that its hire bikes only?
Nope. See the quote below.
I have been there before, it is nothing like HH just in case you are wondering... The banking is steep and you have to actually go fast.
Is this valid as an accreditation?

I'm going to get this clarified.
The contract they've sent over says a hell of a lot, but I can't see any bit on equipment.
That said, they have said "bike/helmet hire is £10 per person".
You can reasonably expect that even if other equipment were allowed that whatever standard is applied to it will be very high.
