Or just get Matt to design you the perfect fork in, shock horror, steel.

I don't want a steel fork, Ed.

theres a photo in his cp thread.

You could get him to make you one from tin foil instead.

I think you are either a fan of that particular aesthetic or you are not - I'm in the latter camp.
The ride is excellent though, and they can make you one with road a2c, disc tabs, guard mounts and black anodised silver bits....

Hang on. Can't you get eyelets that go between the fork any QR. I mean the QR slots through the eyelets then through the hub. You the attach wheel with eyelets aligned then attach guards.
Link somewhere.

I looked at them after your post. They are not cheap! Once you want more than bog standard.

Just a loop round the qr skewer.
It slows (slightly) taking the wheel out, but yeah it works. Or you could glue some clips on.

Issue is that they don't answer the question posed by the lack of brake caliper mount.
-
• #514
Genesis are saying they'll be selling their new Equilibrium Disc fork separately - carbon w/alloy steerer, disc mounts (obvs), mudguard eyelets (on the outside of the fork blade by the look of it).

oops

• #516
the genesis fork is so ugly.
-
• #517
the problem is you want such a short fork. the genesis will probably be as long as the lynskey.
you could buy a Trek Domane and use the fork and throw away the rest. -

Dammit, what happened to those 3D printed mudguard mounts that Pretorious manufactured?

The stated clearance on the Equilibrium Disc fork is only 28C or 25C + mudguards. It's not a cross fork.

The Genesis forks seem to have a brake caliper hole in the crown.

When was cost ever a concern to dammit?!

Are those Axiom strong enough to hold a rack too ?
Yes, that's what we did previously. Call me lazy, but it is a lot easier to buy off-the-shelf.
Ryan charged me £200 to add eyelets to my ENVE RD fork, also.
If I were to do it again I would use the carbon fibre repair bunch over Dorking way who are significantly cheaper than that - the £200 was a bit of a surprise.
