what what what?! the wiring is the paint?! amazing
two (of many questions)
what happens if you scratch the frame while on a ride?
can you electrocute yourself ? -

This is incredible. I am amazed at the circuit board style conductive tracks on the paint. Whose idea was that??
Going to have to come to Bespoked I guess. I want a closer look.

I have been playing with conductive coatings at work recently. It is super tricky to get right. The micron thickness has to be bang on. Would be very interested to get the low down on the specs!

OOOOHHHH the pinstriping question makes sense now. Fuck that's some handiwork.
If you're going to have exposed wiring/solder, I'd suggest blobs of glue to insulate them or something a la helicopter tape.

That is amazing.

^^ so much that, if the wiring really is part of the frame, my mind's been blown and i will vow to buy a talbot at some point in my life

At first, I thought it was my favourite Talbot on the forum. Then I thought it may be my favourite bike on forum. Then, after a day of looking at it every time the thread is bumped, I'm now thinking that it may be my favourite bike, period.

Hahahaha must spread

Impressive how, on previous form, a dedicated thread to another likely porn-worthy build has almost as an interjection a top-shelf road bike as if tossed off like an hors d'oeuvre until the main event is ready.
If all this glorious custom bike building is what a midlife crisis looks like, my next one can't come soon enough.

Is this as it will be ridden or after Bespoked when everyone has gawped at the electrical connections, will there be some kind of cover/shield/tape added to protect the cable/frame interface?
Ah. Now things make sense.
Good work Matt. Looks sensational.
