  • The Dunwich Dynamo is a 200 km night ride from London to the lost city of Dunwich on the Suffolk Coast. From 1992 to 1998 it ran as commercial pay-to-enter event. In 1999 it became free -just-turn-up-and-ride. This Successful format has continued since 2000.
Setting a date for an informal 'turn-up-and-ride' event - on the Saturday night nearest a full moon in July.

  • All over this.

  • Truly a legendary ride!

  • Oh yes - bring it on....

    Start getting those miles in.

It was absolutely massive last year - so many riders and such a great ride. If you've Dun it before you will know what I mean. If you are considering it - do it...

Peace and love and how about a list....,
    Tim

Added my name, if only because it puts me on a training schedule, but this more than any other year, I could be IN.

  • Yes Shoosh :)

  • I think I will do this for the first time this year.

  • I might ride again but I'll be turning right around and riding home if anyone is up for it? That coldness beach half-light stuff is a killer.

  • Best ride ever. In.

You can aim to get there later, say 8am or even 9am. Enjoy the pubs and other pit stops on the way.

  • Greetings biarritz,
For me getting there at 8 am is the best I can do.... I don't have the 5 am sunrise option unless I left Babylon-don at Saturday lunchtime...
Really looking forward to this one.
    Peace and love,
    Tim

If my legs are willing I was thinking about this too. Just because getting home will be such a pain in the arse...

  • The trip home ruined it for me last year. It was epic shite waiting for the coach in the freezing cold.
