Brakeless is popular and fashionable, yes, among a small group of people who are equally lacking in self-preservation instinct as respect for the law, common sense and respect for other road users.

tsk tsk. first mistake yer man Supa there made was aparantly giving a fuck what a bunch of condescending, sanctimonious cunts on a fixie forum thought of the bike he chooses to ride.
hey ho. well done DJ (and others), that's another notch on your bedpost. let us know when you've wiped the jizz off of each others chins.
It appears you are about the only person defending his right to be a danger to himself and other people. Well done!

Maybe one day you'll crash into each other. I really hope not, and wish you no harm. But I can't promise that I won't enjoy the poetic justice of it all if it happens.

that's right DJ, because dribbling pious groupthink makes you right. as i said, my invitation extends to more posters than just you.

pious groupthink.
It's not pious groupthink, it's reasonably simple physics; the maximal deceleration acheivable by the most skilled operator on a brakeless fixed bike is about half what can be acheived by a moderately competent cyclist with a front brake functioning to the modest standard laid down by regulation. Since stopping distance is inversely proportional to deceleration, that means an average nodder can stop from a given speed in half the distance required by a reckless idiot.

Nope, I'll defend it too. He can do what he wants regarding brake set-up, even if he tops himself by riding brakeless it just means that there are more components freed up and one less hipster inflating the prices of bits that I want.
Regarding your brake crusade- boring! Your opinion on this issue is very clear, and mentioned across multiple threads, so why not give it a rest?

His right to self destruction ends where it comes up against somebody elses right to be protected from him. Sure, if he crashes and dies without injuring anybody else, everybody's happy. If he runs over a pedestrian, or punts another cyclist into the path of an HGV, or even just scratches the paint on a street sign, all because he couldn't stop in circumstances where a person using a road legal bicycle could have done, his right to be a twat is irrelevant.

I think the point that you (and James) miss in all this, is that you achieve nothing in pointing out the issues surrounding brakeless riding using the tone that you do. The OP seems pretty set on losing his front brake, and I would say his choice has been cemented by a couple of quality posts telling him that he is a dick.
If you really care and want to change other's behaviour, learn a lesson and encourage people to see your point of view rather than attack them.

Finished wiping, had a false alarm and there was a bit left in my beard I hadn't noticed, but went back and got it.

I am surprised no-one has yet pointed out just what a fucking excellent retort this is.
