Doubt that's changed then, that's a bit big but not impossible obviously.
I wouldn't ride it if you don't feel confident though.

84 FYI^^ and again, feel free to hate on me, but if you're asking 'would it be a bad idea to ride a friends track bike, with track gearing, brakeless', then I'm going to say probably, yeah

Just how much alcohol will be needed?
Safety first for Hovis and that. -

Can't wait to sit in the tandem's draft on the way to brighton.
All aboard the Hovis express.Ha, we ain't no 6pt and tricity. I'd say we have average pace at best but you are more than welcome to draft if you are willing to wait at the top of the hills ;)

I live in Brighton so will prob be a bit hungover and be waking up right as you all arrive into town. Would be great to chat to people though and learn more about the ride before I make the plunge. Brakeless at the moment with a 109GI has taught me to be VERY cautious -___-;
i would guess mid afternoon having stripped out some of my natural optimism, but if we get a big turn out the distribution of possible ride lengths becomes positively skewed and long tailed.
i would suggest PM-ing your number to some folk on the list, like Dan (YAL) and me and we'll try to remember to text you when we're an hour away.
109GI with or without a brake would be a ridiculous choice for this route, and actually most routes!

This will be us then:

Can't wait to sit in the tandem's draft on the way to brighton.
All aboard the Hovis express.
On a side note, given that I don't know what GI means aside from glycemic index.. would it be a bad idea to ride a Boardman TK brakeless?
