It's as you turn into Chinnor and head through High Wycombe. I've uploaded the route successfully onto my Garmin, and also into Ridewithgps for people to view.

SteamRide/Tim, how late is too late to enter? I know officially it closed and not sure if I'll be able to do it yet, but am tempted.

Stll have a hand full of brevets cards left for LFGSS ;)
Have a great ride... and risk the Chinnor Flooding ; )

Just spent an epic 40 mins carrying my bike over the quagmire that is much of the lido. Fail. Hopefully catch up with people further down the line...

Yep, but I didn't see a soul - I think I was a quarter hour behind everyone at the start. Just about caught up with the main group, but got lost around oxfords interminable roundabouts at headington, faffed about at that nightmare pub they used as a control, and realised I'd lost loads of time and would be riding much of the leg home in the dark. So I bailed and got the train.
Not great, but hey, this time last year I couldn't walk so I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Fucking glorious day to be out on the bike, is the main thing.

Do fuck off. My knee got rebuilt over the last two summers after some fucker hit with me with a car.
-
• #148
That's exactly the sort of thing he'd say.

Really, fuck off. You utter cunt. I'm pleased that I can ride a bike again after two big knee ops and months upon months of physiotherapy and you accuse me of making it up. What fucking pleasure do you derive from that?
-

I didn't accuse you of making it up. I jokingly suggested you might be lynchman.
You've got way too much sand in your vag. You cunt.
Well done on the ride.
Yeah it's a Samsung Galaxy so will give OsmAnd a try, cheers. Was just going to be a backup if I get hopelessly lost as I can't use it in motion.
