  • Sick! I have some here that I keep meaning to put on the pendle.

  • I love the purple grips actually..
What colour bartape on the HWYs?

    Purple.

  • yes mate

  • Green surely?! Will go nice and matchy matchy with the logo's...

Gonna look sick either way, like indra said, don't think there's anything i'd change on this build :)

  • so what spokes are in rear cosmic?

  • Double reduced DT Comp.

It's flexy so I ordered another rear hub with bladed slots.

  • its flexy cause of spoke count, i assume bladed spokes wont help you.

  • Bladed spokes are a lot more rigid in the lateral so it can withstand the torsion somewhat better. I snapped a spoke last night and the wheel went out of true. Will have to throw that on my lbs again and fit a brake when it's done ha!

  • with a 16 spoke count you have 4 spokes to carry tourque and 4 following spokes on one side. thats not much to catch the force of a fixed drive train!

Indeed it isn't. Having flexyflexy DT spokes that aren't rigid enough is just butter. CX Ray will make things stiffer.

  • Also, Omega V wheels will be built next month

  • Minor update with a DA 7410 post.

  • So fucking good man, this bike a keeper.

  • Yeah, never selling this. (if I don't have too)

  • Straight up HHSB porn!

  • 27.2 keeps slipping and if I was to venture a guess I'd say that the Columbus Brain OS is 27.4 in dia.

    Also, new wheels tomorrow.

  • Carbon assembly paste

  • Yeah, saw the GCN video about that. Might have a go if I can find any locally.

    Edit*

Just read more and nope, will not put that on my DA 7410 post as it will fuck it up. Chalk on the other hand...

    Edit2

    Maybe...

  • Maybe it's the top of your seatpost slipping, i'm serious

  • beer can (argually better then coke can) shim. works a treat.

my gazelle had issues of slippage; mostly due to mangled clamp ears.

27.4 ordered went in 4cm; beer can shim saved the day!

  • but i'm curious what you mean bonor.. you in the "don't trust 7410 seatposts"-camp?

  • Your concorde is in great shape, very nice build !
