Yeah, pretty much.

It was good. We played no contact off the ball whatsoever which was easy to enforce with two people watching.

The polo was clean and good to watch

what did everyone think of the qualifying process?

Was it worth having the second qualifier or did you all feel it wasnt necessary and should have been left to the UK Champs?

I'm trying to sort it.
5th was Shane, Boagey and Neil, Shane is on a team and Neil can't make it, not heard back off Boagey. 2/3 says no go anyway.
6th was flowery twats, I'm chatting to them now and they are all in but want confirmation from Italy before booking anything that the spot is theirs. I'm 90% sure it is but need to get confirmation.

I can't see any info online to say they've added an extra spot to the main tourney. I doubt they have, Adam is just saying there is a wildcard up for grabs. Maybe email mike to be sure.

I've spoken to Adam briefly on the phone but he seems a bit snowed under, this was the impression I got due to another dropout from Slovenia, but wanted to make sure.

I think he's in contact with Italy and more people emailing will probably just confuse things further.

Hopefully, I think that is what has happened but not 100% yet as there was already a drop out from abroad meaning 4th place at the qualifier got through (us, now twats), I'm hoping this is a separate thing and not a confusion of the same dropout.

but why would we take that main spot as opposed to any other wildcard or major team wanting a spot?

As far as I know there is an algorithm that allocates spots based on previous results and a few other things, I'd guess that once Slovenia dropped out it was reworked and the UK gets an extra main spot and we were next in line.
