If anyone wants to spike me with acid, I'd be ever so grateful.

Has there been some subterfuge? If for instance I search for 'Tammy Ruffell Lfgss' all I get is the google data protection blurb: "Some results may have been removed under data protection law in Europe."
-
• #357
Did anybody ruffell her feathers?
-
• #358
Doubt it.
When you search for a name, you may see a notice that says that results may have been modified in accordance with data protection law in Europe. We’re showing this notice in Europe when a user searches for most names, not just pages that have been affected by a remova

Don't use google.co.uk (or any other EU state tld where the right to be forgotton rules apply)
Google.com shows zero results for that search.
https://www.google.com/search?q=Tammy%20Ruffell%20Lfgss&safe=off&num=100&hl=en&gws_rd=ssl
No subterfuge.

Erm, I think the difference between google.com and google.co.uk searches is that the google.com results page doesn't show the EU right to be forgotten statement.
If you use the right to be forgotten thing to tell google to stop listing certain pages in the results then it applies to all google domains.

Is that when you search for Tammy Ruffell, a driving instructor, in Bristol? The one who wants to kill cyclists?
-
• #364
Yes, when you search for Tammy Ruffell, a driving instructor in Bristol. The one who wants to kill cyclists. Yes.
-
• #365
But that is my point, for whatever reason mentioning wannabe cyclist killer Tammy Ruffell in this thread doesn't mean it shows up in a google search..
-
• #366
The ruling doesn't specify whether search results from Google.com must be censored.
Google has implemented the right to be forgotten only on EU subdomains / tlds.

C'mon Google Indexing, fight the good fight!

I can't believe you lot are still going on about Tammy Ruffell, dangerous cyclist hunter and alleged driving instructor from Bristol.

She seems to like horses though - perhaps just not on the road where they get in her way.

I don't get it, is Tammy Ruffell some sort of TSR driving instructor from Bristol who wants to kill cyclists?

What does TSR stand for?

Didn't VB mention that google page ranking is all to do with relevant links?
I seem to remember that when we were calling James Martin (the cunt) a cunt.
Her name was mentioned in this FB thread where someone was trying to find a recommended driving instructor in Bristol.

I certainly wouldn't recommend Tammy Ruffell, who wants to kill cyclists.
