I'm not sure that winding people up on the internet and then dobbing them in to their employers when they take the bait is particularly admirable behaviour. And of course, the guy is going to really love the next cyclist he drives up behind after you've all antagonised him - he's going to be really sensitive and give them a wide berth.
You could, if you had really needed to intervene, have been patient with him and see if you could actually bring him around to a less intolerant point of view, but that wouldn't have been so much fun, would it?
Zackly.

Wait. You people are going to risk getting a stranger fired for a Facebook group he started which says nothing more extreme than what's written in the papers everyday? Before, at the very least, even attempting to engage rationally with him?
You don't know who this guy is. He may be the next Hitler planning the cyclist apocalypse, or someone who got pissed off at a cyclist two years ago and reacted with this Facebook group rather than knocking someone off. It's not exactly a hotbed of activity.
I'd vote for this guy. He should study politics and shit.

You love this shit, don't you James.
well he did call one of those " hows my driving" numbers that appear in front of our faces on the roads once, tell the operator the driver nearly had his life, and as a result got him banned. that is the point of those numbers right?
just glad Im not on faceache -

Jim Davidson had a gag about those 'How's my driving?' signs on the rear of vehicles.
He also had a gag about a massive tattooed knob, I seem to recall.

Does anyone really believe he mows down cyclists because they don't have insurance?
How far would you punish a man for a silly remark in on the internet?

not keen on a lynch mob but... how about 'just enough to make him think twice'?

has this been resolved yet?

Jeez check this facebook group (you may have to log in to Facebook to activate the link)
https://www.facebook.com/groups/238008289555881/
This has been set up by someone who drives as a profession!!
BUT (haha) he seems to be having trouble with someone defending cyclists...worth a look. Sure his employer would be proud of his attitude towards other road users!!
Looking through the members list there's quite a few people who drive for a profession and some who work in Schools etc.
Perhaps their employers might like to know about their social failings too.

brings up an interesting point this
are we actually the same people IRL as our online presence? We all say dickish things, but surely it's ok to say dickish things, and actually upset people still? I mean, it's ludicrous right - we live in disturbing times, where people are arrested for making jokes online about things that other people think they shouldn't
