Once the dust settles I'll be able to pick up some cheap Spesh kit. Sweet.

And still deafening silence from the aggressors. Probably still catching up with all the comments on their FB page.

Wonder if they will scapegoat their Canada division?

Twitter is fascinating I must say.

Very bad taste IMO. It is sure that this veteran of the U.S. Army suffered the worst atrocities that may experience a human being.

Poor afghanistan veteran. It is certain that the injustice that is going through is a thousand times greater than that his country has committed or continues to commit in the Middle East. Is there a thread to talk about the collaboration of some manufacturers of carbon wheels with the U.S. Army?

Have we invoked Godwin's Law already?
-
• #161
^^ Whut?
-
• #162
^^ There is no "invoking" of Godwin's Law.
That's like saying you "invoke" gravity when you get out of bed in the morning.
-
• #163
Although it can be pretty fucking awkward when you *forget *to invoke gravity.

• #164
OK, 'succumbed to'. :-)

"The law is sometimes invoked, as a rule, to mark the end of a discussion when a Nazi analogy is made, with the writer who made the analogy being considered to have lost the argument."
... and we all know wikipedia is never wrong...

Being right and being badly written aren't mutually exclusive. -

Anyway it looks like there is a happy finish to this bike industry kerfuffle...

Happy finishes all round!

Wonder if they will scapegoat their Canada division?
That was my thought; the delay is them persuading the Canadian IP department to fall on their swords rather than telling everybody that they have been directed to be assholes all the way down from Mike Sinyard. It's going to take a while to make sure everybody has the "It was the Canadian IP Dept. being over-aggressive off their own bat" story straight if the truth is that the culture of bullying has a long paper-trail leading back to Morgan Hill.

What a load of old cobbles* this has all been.

Yes but they are clearly taking advantage of the situation which to me is fair game.
