Nice! I’ve seen that type of frame before. The top tube doesn’t seem to be Max. Might have been inspired by the Merckx MXL, where they ditched the max TT which was used on the earlier Max Corsa Extras in favour of a more compliant ride.

Yes, Diamant (another Belgian builder) had similar frames.

Thanks but as I sais before: I actually don't need it. Someone from here on the forum asked me to act as middle man (seller speaks dutch and lives not so far away from Ghent) but he changed his mind. By the time he pulled back, I already had some nice chats with the seller and I didn't want to let him down. :-)

Not sure what to do with it. Maybe put the Record Titanium on it that is boxed somewhere in my attic.

I say give it a good polish, make it look fabulous with the record ti, photoshoot it in quiet downtown Ghent on a spring morning and sell it to whoever needs a dream bike.

After a few years of searching for a Columbus Max fork with a long enough steerer to replace the fine but not pretty at all, OG carbon one on my 1996 ti Merckx , I finally found one. eBay purchase from Oleg in Western Siberia of all places, it arrived today and it looks even better in the flesh than I was expecting, hell yeah! Thanks Oleg, top bloke.
