Damn, 64? How tall did you say you were again? You must be like 10% torso. :) What are the dimensions of the Orlowski?
-
• #253
I'm around six foot two so not that big.
The orlowski if 60x57 if I remember correctly.

Saddle angle seems to be rectified:

Looking mad radical! And a fairly respectable number of scoblebricks too boot.

Thanks a lot Loz! I think I'll be offloading it at the start of April, so I've got less than two months with it left.

What exactly is a TM angle?

Bloody hell, you must be losing loads of money getting through bikes that quickly? Surely if you like it and it fits, ride it until it doesn't? A TM angle is the nose pointed slightly down. Due to his dodgy gonads if the LSF lot are to be trusted.

haha, quite the opposite loz. I made some money off the sale of the Dolan I bought a few months ago but that's not the point; I just personally enjoy having a new frame every once in a while, makes cycling that bit just more exciting. (Plus I enjoy putting together parts from scratch, feels that much more rewarding when you have "completed" a build).
As for the TM angle, meh; its not that bad and definitely more comfortable.

The black pen on the braking surface didn't last a day with a front brake on, any other alternatives?
-
• #263
nope, if you run a brake your braking surface will be silver
-
• #264
Replace the brake pads with the felt from black felt tips.

I saw this bike being ridden today, just at the end of Waterloo Bridge when it joins Strand. You looked like a lost sheep. I was walkengering back to the office, mind. Didn't have the guts to shout a das with that many people around me...

You still at SH, JB? Been in a bit lately, looking for a bike that looks forum and not seeing anything.

Yeah I was slightly puzzled, first time trying to get to Shoreditch using Waterloo Bridge. Ended up going through St Paul's, Bank and then Aldgate.

Even if you had das'd I probably would have been too preoccupied with trying not to get lost, would have probably let out a meek skid or just a crap wave.

Still here, but moved out of town, so I get the train in with my Brompton. If you ever see a Genesis CdF with a front lowrider, that's mine, but I don't ride all the way to work as much as I'd like as a 60 mile round trip is rather tiring. It's the least looking forum bike ever...
I'm upstairs now, opposite the shower.

Classy. I'll be doing more and more days until full-time in May I reckon, same as last year. Then out until next year. Might catch you around.

A few weeks ago when I first inserted the crabonz forks into the frame and I went for a spin - I noticed that the lower head-tube cup made a two very slight grooves at the rear of the fork crown. But this did not affect the steering.
I decided that I would keep riding with the forks if the cup did not erode the rear of the crown any further, I checked the fork crown yesterday and the grooving has not gotten any worse.
- Should I be worried?

Can someone buy this for me please? :) :) :).
Think of it as an extremely early B-day prezzie. ;)
64x57 with 20cm HT, ride wise it's my favourite but I've loved most of my frames/builds.
