  • Yeah PFC got the good chicken, but Morleys locked the chicken industry down differently. I've seen roads with upto 3 Morleys.
Haha, really? 3 is slightly overkill, sounds like we have a chicken shop connoisseur.

  • Haha agreed, guy who started the Morleys chain must be laughing nowadays.

  • Lol, Definitely. Who knows, maybe Morleys will be the new McDonalds.

Just picked up a free stem, dropbars and seatpost from Ollie (ok123) Thanks so much man! Repped for been such a cool guy, Best thing was I didn't even know he was going to give me the drops. Thanks so much once more.

  • The owner of Morley's is my mates uncle.
    He's a cunt.

  • No problem, better they are put to good use, looking forward to seeing this up and running

  • Thanks man, time for some crappy indoor picture updates, bars, stem, saddle and seatpost put on (Don't focus on the bar angle and seat angle, they will be changed in the future):

Decisions, decisions:I've currently got 4 saddles and 2 seatposts and my favorite combination seems to be the one currently on the frame. My second combination would be the bontrager seatpost and the san marco saddle. But I wouldn't know which combination is best until the bike is actually completed.

Also I'll possibly be buying black bar tape for the drops and in a few weeks from Decathlon and a 25.4 mm stem for my teh risers..

  • nice.
    have to ride soon dud

  • Cheers Dakin, anymore developments with your rough patch with Neil?

  • Looking rapid man. What chainset?

What's the layback on that Bont post?

  • Thanks a lot Chak!

Chainset wise, I'll be using a 46t Sturmey Archer black crankset. (Sorry Ollie, totally forgot I sold the 48t one with Dolan). And the layback on the stratos (the one on the frame atm) is about 25mm, on bontrager its about 15mm.

  • Looks good and the saddle angle looks near perfect visually.

  • Dibs turbo if you dont want it.

Ah, nailed it first time. Thanks man.

Dibs turbo if you dont want it.

lol, my brother said he's not looking to get rid of it anytime soon. And its fun having 2/3 seat options to alternate between depending on my mood.

  • Second seat option and better outdoor pictures:

Bars should be getting wrapped today!

  • Looking nice! That saddle had better be comfy because it's ugly as fuck! Ha ha. Have you thought about destickering the front rim?

  • Haha! Yeah the saddle is pretty comfortable and makes me feel somewhat agile and faster on a bike. Yeah I'll ask my bro if I can de socket the front wheel or apply a black marker pen to the wheel.

  • Hair dryer and a credit/debit card/drivers license/Tesco clubcard should do the job, then a bit of nail polish remover if there's any residue left over.

  • Only if the decals aren't under any lacquer though, which they shouldn't be.

  • Just to check, you know that's not how the quick release on the front wheel works right?

  • Yes I'm very much aware of that TM, I have like that because I take it off when I'm finished taking pictures and I couldn't be bothered to tighten it for every picture I take.

  • Just wanted to check! Never mind saddle criticism, this bike is great, especially considering you're only 15! What cranks you getting?

  • buy my cannondale bars for matching kit! http://www.lfgss.com/thread118777.html

Damn it. Why do you always try and make me look stupid, TM? :( Since I am pretty much skint, I'll be using a 46t Black Sturmey Archer crankset (off my brother's late Pearson frame) until I can buy something better.

Thanks for the compliment though, one of the youngest on LFGSS if not the youngest.

If I had the money, I would but I still need £25 odd to pay for the drilling of the forks, sorry Amey. :(

  • get them pay me in the new year :)

  • get them and never pay me :)

Cheers Amey, ;), you really are into the spirit of giving, aren't you?

I'll possibly be posting some pictures of the incomplete bike outside so you guys can all admire my sweet 1st timer bar wrapping skillz innit. :)

Warning; you guys might get jealous. (TM)
