  • Greetings folks,

Just a quick bump for this one.

    Er it's free.

    It's all about bikes

It's taking place on Sunday 12 to 6 pm

Weather forecast for east London on Sunday is 'Cool'.

    Peace and Love,
    Tim

  • Who or what is Vulpine please?

  • Who or what is Vulpine please?

We're not entirely sure. Something to do with cycling apparel, I've heard.

  • ^ funny you should ask that, the other day I got funny looks in M&S when I asked for Waitrose houmous

  • This was fun. Was only there briefly as was really struggling after 80 solo miles this morning and a shit sleep though. Mice to meet HMS and miss mouse too! Oliver, I didn't see you in there?

I have now retreated to the safety of my sofa with a beer.

  • ^ i didn't see any mice

  • ^ glad to hear it

  • ^^ You so did. You said something about organising the next London Lights ride ;)

^^^ It was great to meet you at last Jim! You didn't look knackered. Pleased to know you're moving to civilisation imminently! Hope it works out.

Also lovely to see/chat to HoKe, Jacqui, Jess, hms, Leo, Oliver, JAH tim, the Roboto family (so cute!!!), YSB, Zebs, Ian and be blanked by Fox ;)

I had a fun times today - cool venue, imaginative/tongue in cheek competitions, friendly atmosphere, a few celebs, music...etc.

It would have been nice to sell more but visitors were definitely more interested in the games today :)

    Good work vulpinecc :)

  • It was good. I did the early stint so missed the final comps but I don't think my time on the tyre change challenge will have lasted in the prize places..

Good to chat with MM & Hoke, and to meet you Jim. See you for a Kent ride when you move down here

  • ^ At least you won some socks ;)

  • Ah yes, Lucky number 11. And a puncture repair kit over at LBK.

  • This was awesome. Great venue, great stalls, lots of exciting small (for now) businesses. For some reason, it was full of bike nerds, but hey, I just took that in my stride. :)

Lots of known people and a few unknown people whom it was a pleasure to meet. Well done for organising, Nick and Jess!

I won't attempt a list of forumengers because I inevitably forget someone. Great to see you all! :)

  • Oliver, I didn't see you in there?

You probably left before we even got there. :)

  • Greetings to each and every one,

I had a lovely day out yesterday at the cyclo games. Had chats and said hello to many forum people. I also had my bike in for the best bike beauty pageant. I like my bike, well full stop and also I like it to look nice and clean. So gave it a good spruce up and got the touch up paint out to sort any dinks / chips in the paintwork and also gave the metal bits a clean with bar keepers friend on the Saturday. So though I say so myself it was looking immaculate.

I had never met James from CycleLove before and I am a fan of his blog. I got to chat and reason with him as the afternoon progressed. I also had a nice chat with a very tall someone from Kinoko. These two had organised the competition....When the 'celebrity panel' came to the judging the winners were

    1 - grey keirin bike
    2 - red dursley?
    3 - Ho's black cannon

Well it's not the winning but the taking part right? Had a good day out and it was free for the punters, so good luck to the organisers and thanks to them again for the opportunity to display my bike. It was an honour to display my bike amongst such fine examples of the craft.

Peace and love and see you out on the road,
    Tim
